The Challenge

Despite world-class production, the backend packing process remained a weak link:

• Efficiency Bottleneck: Labor-intensive methods couldn't match high-speed production, leading to inventory backlogs.
• Quality Risks: Manual wrapping inconsistency increased the risk of scratches and corrosion on high-value copper.
• Data Islands: Lack of real-time MES integration created traceability gaps and human error in logging.

The Solution: Intelligent Dual-Mode Line

FHOPEPACK engineered an end-to-end automated solution featuring a unique "dual-lane" configuration. This system employs two independent weighing and wrapping stations operating in parallel, allowing for:

• Simultaneous processing of different coil sizes (700mm to 1600mm OD).
• Continuous operation during maintenance on a single lane.
• Automatic bag packing and robotic palletizing for a hands-free workflow.
